Poem a pic.

Standard

This was for an audition in college.
Extremely futile.
Definitely better when the reader gets inebriated.

Seven faces for one
Seven silhouette ladies for another
Mere colours for an artist
But facets for you.

Bequething light on the dark side of the moon,
Mesmerising sky in the winter,
Reflections, perplexions, afflictions, you perceive,
How magical, would it be to believe.

To believe in one,
paradoxical universe.

For hope to engulf pragmatism,
For love to encapsulate the worry,
Does your imagination sync
with the cadence
of reality.

Or do you live in a world,
where
a moon, is just a moon,
a cat, just a cat,
the stars, petty and celestial,
and existence, surreal ?

Do you still breathe in a room,
where the minds together,
can’t embrace,
and help you remember when you were young,
you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there’s a look in your eyes,
like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
